Festival de San Sebastián

The district of San Sebastián, just outside the center of Cusco, Peru, hosts quite the festival in January. The main parade features dance troupes from around the district and local men carry a massive statue of San Sebastián through town on their shoulders. A traditional feast of cold meats including Cuy (Guinea Pig) is part of the colorful and lively party.
